Mine don't stay sharp very long. I guess that doesn't matter when they are cheap.

Hey Annie P, this is Anna and I'm in Bellevue so we are neighbors. I have a friend who buys in bulk because she lives in a very isolated area but 40 does seem excessive.

I hear mentions of "sharpening" them - and somebody made reference to aluminum foil as one way -

How do you sharpen them? Thanks.

I ordered mine took 3 months for them to come in. Havae 4 packages. Bet the person who bought 40 was sharing or planned to sell them on ebay.

I put one of the HF blades in my Fons & Porter cutter and it works well. I haven't tried in the Olfa one, but will try it tomorrow. If it doesn't work in that one, well, I have a backup!
I'm also going to see if my DH can sharpen them. He did ask me to give him to old ones, so he must have a use for it. I'll check into that.

Here is the link to the blade pricing you were looking for. They 'fit' Olfa, but are actually a replacement generic-type blade.
14.90 per 10 blades; 139.00 per 100 blades. Not tungsten blades?
If this link doesnt work, go to jhittle.com, then click on 'specials'. Scroll down to the bottom of the page for the offer.

Holidaying Australians might! they cost about $11.50 for one blade in our shops = find 'em cheaper and buy up big time.
