Definitely the Martelli cutter. I have carpel tunnel and this cutter helps:

I use kai cutters. The blade is not exposed until you press down on it to cut and it closes up when the pressure is released. The blades are adjustable and sharp. Other cutters that I have been given have not got a safe enough blade closure in my opinion.

I found this one at Amazon and bought it.

I am not saying that its a bad tool, but I am not too impressed either. Did I pick a bad rotary cutter?
What rotary cutter do you guys use?[/QUOTE]
I have this cutter and have used it almost daily for years. I routinely cut through up to eight layers at a time. You did not say what you did not like about the cutter so it is hard to say what is wrong. I found that once I started using the cutter a lot it was hard to go back to scissors...I even cut out patterns with my cutter. More details about your experience would be helpful.

Ok several years ago I purchased a rotary cutter. I was not too impressed with it and I ended up going back to scissors. After watching videos I thought that I would try to buy another one.
