I tried the Martelli and gave it away. I just couldn't get used to it. I have friends that love theirs.

The largest olfa cutter used to be my favorite rotary cutter. Not any more. Martelli is now my favorite. I can cut longer with it and experience much less discomfort. It truely is easier for me to use. Fiskers are nice and so is the gingher but the Martelli is the best. P.S. The harbor freight blades work just fine in the martelli cutter too.

I use two......love the blue Dritz with the large handle and rubber grips but it doesn't fit in the Shape Cutter so that's when I reach for my Olfa.

I love the Martelli also and use it exclusively. I had to go back for the demo from the rep as I wasn't using it correctly. Now, I can cut for a very long time. I use the mat, their foam backed ruler and their cutter. I love their products.

I have the Martelli cutters but don't care for them, they just "feel wrong" in my hand. I don't like the Dritz because it's hard for me to get the blade in the correct position. It's somehow related to the way it automatically closes.
I'm okay with the Fiskars but my preference is definitely the Olfa. The safety issue of self-closing versus manual closing is one of training and habit and I long ago made it a habit to close my cutter when I put it down.

DH just ordered me a 45" olfa. I had been using a fiskars. Second one, since I returned the first. My problem with fiskars, is the blade wobbles and has to be tighened frequently

I use Olfa. It is a habit I guess because I just seem to buy that brand.

I have wondered about the Martelli cutter as I have a very bad problem with neck and should tightness after cutting with my Olfa rotary cutter. Looks like I should look in to this after my month break from quilting.
