Make sure you get one that has an ergonomic shape; not the straight kind. Got a terrible case of tendonitis from cutting with the straight one

I personally like the Martelli Rotary Cutter. It is the one with a handle on the side. They are wonderful. In case you have never heard of it : www.martellinotions.com or www.ourquiltingspace.com . They are out of Pensacola , Florida.

I have tried all the cutters - Fiskars, Olfa, etc. - and believe it or not I prefer the Dritz. It seems to fit in my hand the best.

I also tried one of those yellow orbital sharpeners and found it quite lacking. I did hear that there are folks you can mail your used blades to that will sharpen them and mail them back. Anyone got an address or website?

    All I need is a NEW BLADE ! what a difference !
Your cutting is much more enjoyable with a new blade.

I really like my Olfa 60mm- I seem to control it better than the smaller one.

I use the Martelli Ergo 2000 rotary cutter. Little bit different concept; Much easier to use than the standard rotary cutter.

I have used Olfas and a Martelli, but I really *love* Clover's rotary cutters. The handle is more rounded and softer and easier on my hand when I cut.

I bought the Olfa with the quick change blade and it is great. I have a lot of trouble changing the blade and this one works great. It was well worth the extra money. I had been buying them on sale and I have at least a dozen of various sizes.
