WOW! I have had SUCH a great day! I went to the quilt shop yesterday (sorry but I have no pics of my journey, my camera battery dies and although I tok pics on my cell phone I can't find the cable to connect and download them! Gah!).

I got all the fabric I needed for my Mom's duvet cover, and it went straight in the wash. All dried this moring, I have since had a rotary cutting BONANZA! Apart from popping out to the store for groceries I have been indoors all day cutting and piecing, and have made 20, yes 20 blocks!!!!! I am so proud of myself, it all went really well, very accurate, colours look great, so happy! So sorry I don't have pics but the photography gods are jealous that I have another hobby and are NOT smiling on me. All I can give you is a reminder of what I'm making at the link below. The blocks I completed today are the yellow ones, will start on red ones tomorrow! Time for bed now!

I can hardly wait to see a picture! It's going to be lovely. All I've managed today is 5 blocks and that was a tough hoe.

Mary, you are on a roll....keep going, its going to be fantastic I just feel it in my bones :D

Karla, a duvet is a common name in the U.K. basically for a thick quilt which you have loose covers which you can easily take off and wash, they are lovely and warm yet very light :D

What a tease you are telling us all about your fabric and blocks.....now you should have charged them batteries and took some photo's ....when will we get them....

Whenever I have a day like that I just don't want to go to bed...I sew all night...then I go to sleep and dream about sewing....:-)

Hurry and get them batteries.....we want to see photo's!!
