Would loved to have participated but I live in the UK & postage times can take forever!
I am currently envolved in one at our local quilting group, we are making strips, there are two groups of 8 ladies so we should get our 8 strips back just in time for Christmas.
We are going to be given ideas as to what to do with them then as we are not joining them up as we go along.
I can send you the recipe if you wish. Good Luck & enjoy. :D

Vicki I can't wait to see a pic of what your border for my quilt. Sounds very nice. Come on just a lil peak?? hehehe

Cordelia I am reposting the pic for you. It was suppose to have appliqued flowers in the middle. I chickened out before I sent it. I may still add them when I get it back though.

I am making progress on Dawn's center. However I keep changing my mind. I thought scrappy was going to be easy to work with. I am having trouble with everything looking too busy. I will post a pic when there is real progress.

    My Round Robin center.

Oh, I do remember that now and I love it. It's large too. You know, you can wait until you get it back and applique something on it once you see all the borders on it. It's probably a better idea to do it that way.

I won't get to work on your block. I guess you're in Group 1.

Hopefully by the end of nest week, I will be closer to be done on the border! GK coming this morning so I don't know how much I'll get done today! I am anxious to get it done and really see how its going to look. Tomorrow, sad to say work will get in the way of sewing. But I am going to keep plugging away.

I thought I had the border all figured out until the kiddo says....Mom, you can't use that! It doesn't match! Well, I said...FIND me something in this room that will go with it!
I'm doing Cordelia's square. There's a picture of it, so you can see what I'm talking about. lol
Just when I THINK I have what I want to do, someone looks at it and tosses in the monkey wrench! ARGH!!!

But, since I don't have the color I want in my stash, I might go and buy it tomorrow. I need that color anyway, so it's not a problem, OR I will just go with thought number 1 instead of thought number 2001

There is no color, no style, no texture, no pattern or design that I won't love. I have nothing in mind for how I want it to look. I have no color scheme. I have no really expectations other than it's a project other people are contributing to. Which is what is special to me.

I didn't want it to be stressful for anybody. This block is going to have the shared creativity of five other people. There is nothing anyone can add to it that I won't love and greatly appreciate.

I have decided I am going with thought number 1999. lol
But, by the time morning comes, it will most likely be number 1056 lmao
