Round Robins

I am part of the round robins going on with this board. I have found it to be a very rewarding experience. We make sure each round is mailed on before we send each person another one.
Why would you keep mailing them to her if she isn't mailing them on? That means she could steal 2 max. That is really low.
I would definitely do it again with people on this board.

Is she part of this forum? Just wondering. Suz

A Round Robin is generally when you make a center block for your quilt. You then send the block as well as the fabric you'd like used to another person participating in the Round Robin. That person then adds to your quilt, and you recieve someone elses quilt in the group and then add to theirs. With each quilt you get you add atleast one new fabric. When the quilts have made their rounds, you get yours back and if all goes right, you have a beautiful quilt top! Hope I explained that all correctly.

I'm DYING to participate in an international round robin, I can't believe I missed the thread for the last one. I remember tracking the one before that and really really wanting to do one... I guess I wasn't paying enough attention. I'm guessing there will only be another one started after the current one finishes in September?

I have never participated, but at our guild meeting Thursday, this years participates got their own quilts back. They got to see them for the first time in front of all of us. It was so much fun to watch hesitant looks change to elated. They all turned out beautiful.
I think doing the international one would be a lot of fun.
