I was just curious if anyone had this and what their thoughts were if so. My current iron spits, has calcium build up, barely gets hot, and is super light. I need a much heavier iron for better pressing. If you do not, do you have a suggestion of another HEAVY iron?

Go to the top of this screen and click on 'search' and type in Rowenta and/or iron - there has been a very long discussion on this already.

I saw a few posts on Rowenta in general but not this particular model. And they were so mixed, I was trying to see if this one was a hit or a miss. :)

I have a Rowenta Iron--not that model but just wanted to say that my directions said to use spring water if your tap water had a lot of minerals in it. Just be careful--I found spring water in the market that had added minerals for taste--use the one without minerals. I think this is good advice for all irons, not just Rowenta's.
