Default Roxanne's Quilt shop in Carpinteria CA

Recent trip to Santa Barbara I visited Roxanne's in Carpinteria. If you visit the area be sure and check out her quilt shop. It has a great selection of kaffe, polka dots, florals, blenders, and filled with lots of gift items, yarn, knitting books, patterns. A most charming colorful store. This was my 2nd time there within last few years and not sure if due to new owner but this time round staff was very helpful and friendly. Worth a visit for sure. My relationship to the store was purely as a customer.

I'll remember this on my next trip north.

I have not been there yet but plan to. The "new" owner is actually the original owner of "The Treasure Hunt" She sold it to another owner about 4 or 5 years ago and then last year that owner closed down the shop. Roxanne owned the building and recently opened it back up under a new name.

It has been several years since I went there but sure enjoyed the shop.
It is a good sized shop and fun to go thru.
The main street of town is also fun to investigate and be sure to have a meal at the Palms restaurant. You cook your own meat on the grill.
They have an Avacoto festival in Oct. and they close the main street off for it.
Great place to visit and only about 15 miles on up to Santa Barbara a big tourest town.

How timely- I am going to be in the campground up there this weekend! I knew the new shop was there but it wasn't open the last time I went by. I'll have to check it out this weekend. I always enjoyed looking around the Treasure Hunt & shopped there often.
