Default Rugs, and mugs and gift wrapping

I make two sets of mug rugs, one for an exchange gift and the other set for a game prize for our TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Christmas party which will be Dec. 18. The mugs I've picked up over the year, and I used the snowball pattern for the rugs. I've got Christmas gifts stashed here there and yonder and wanted to get the mugs & rugs finished up and out of my hair. The easiest to grab wrapping paper I found was brown craft paper. Okay, that works, but it's plain. So, I had a flash------------cut a bit of Christmas fabric, glue it to the top, use a magic marker to mark replica stitches around the fabric and guess what---------------I'M DONE!

Wish I could post pictures (computer problem) but I think the packages turned out rather cute.

    Sounds like a 'winner'.

I had to do a "Thank you, God!" for the idea. Truth of the matter is, I will use what's handy if I can.
