    is the side kick the same as tri recs? don`t want to buy another ruler if i dont need to

    As far as I can tell from the illustrations - they have the same angles.

    For me, I think the Tri-Recs ruler(s) would be a lot easier to use.

    Because - I would only need to concentrate on only one shape at a time.

    When one makes the triangle in a square unit (Doreen Speckmann called it her "Peaky and Spike Unit") - one has to remember that one of the side triangles is the reverse of the other side triangle.
