    Hi:
I have a question has anyone on the board ever used one of the special rulers made for squaring up a block. If so is it worth the money and how well do they work? : :?:

    Thanks : ef

Are you talking about the yellow plastic ones that are about 24 inches?
I have one like that which I use for straightening some of my edges that do not want to behave. I love it.

I have one of the 12-1/2" squares with the 6-1/2" square cutout in the middle. It is very useful for me, since I work in small spaces

I have several rulers for squaring up. You at least need a 6 in and a 12 in.

Yes, yes, yes-they are wonderful and worth every penny you spend on them. Try getting them at JoAnn's with a 40% off coupon.

I had some little ones made of plexiglass or acrylic - for cutting I Spy squares - and then I put the 1/4 inch masking tape around the edges so I could see what my finished square would look like.

I have several of the squaring rulers. I am looking covetously at the largest one available. They come in very handy.
