Fantastic. We gave our DD9 money for fabric for her birthday and I want to help her get the most for her money. Also felt bad making her wait until Joanne's went on sale! Guess we'll head to Lewiston this weekend. Who knows, maybe I'll pick up a bit for myself, as well... ;-)

I'm in the process of moving to Sabattus so I'll be packing.

Almost all the fabric at the Lewiston store is under 5.00. They have some nice batting too.

No fabric at Gray, I'm afraid. It's a much smaller store, too. Not to discourage you but just to caution you.

I go to the Waterville Mardens all the time, it's only a 5 minute drive from me, They have lots of name brand fabric right now, all 4.99 or less a yard. I just wanted to let all you Mainers know :)

I live in Florida and just returned from going up the East coast. I shopped at Mardens in Andover and S.Portland. Picked up Thimbleberry Fabric for $1.99 a yard. I also bought other fabric for only $4.99. When we got to NH I said NO to Keepsake Quilting, Mardens was much less. Next stop is Mary Jo's in NC.
