I didn't look at all the pages on the challenge. I looked at enough to see that most of the fabric was gaudy more than it was ugly. Others were boring. I'm sorry, the trophy still goes to Candace who owns the dead cat fabric. Barf, barf.

I guess the idea was to prove that what you thought was "ugly" was actually beautiful to someone else. I didn't take the class a friend of mine did and said it was alot of fun and made you realize how different our opinions are. Once you complimented it with other fabrics the outcome was always beautiful....

Suit yourself and don't expect everyone, even a sister, to agree with your choices. If I see something I don't like, I feel it adds character but I wouldn't say that out loud. My sister automatically doesn't like what I like but we look past such things. Do what you want to do and use the uglies, they make the other pieces look better.
