Well - last night I finished FMQ a wall hanging and when I got it done I stepped back and realized that I hated it. The quilt I like but it would have looked better if I would have SID for this design. So...... two seam rippers, a beer for my DH, and we're sitting on the couch ripping all the stitches out. At least its a way to have some "quality time' with DH.

Thank you for your post ! My DH wants me to buy seam rippers in bulk. I am always asking him.. "could you please take me to the store? I need a seam ripper."

Seam ripper my friend ! No, I don't have my original seam ripper from High School .. as my childhood friend shared about her seam ripping days.

Yes, I have taken out my FMQ too.. some times it feels good as you are quilting but the big picture is .. ugghh.
so sorry for you.. nice to have "quality time"

Best to you on your next move on FMQ

I just finished ripping out all the quilting I did on one. Finally got it all pin basted again, so am ready to try again tonight. I relied too heavily on spray basting the first time around and it came out terrible! It is a definitely a love-hate relationship that I have with my ripper, maybe on second thought it's just a hate-hate feeling!

Please tell me how you get your husband to help you rip out. What a priceless gift!
