Could you tell me who you called about the tracks? I called the company and was told they no longer have/make the one inch track for this frame. However, they did say they have a upgrade system that would work. It would cost $63.28 to get it here. I may as well budget for it because the rest of the frame doesn't do any good without the tracks. I have put it together as far as adding the tracks. I also see the pointer is missng. Hope the rest of the parts are there. I have learned not to be so trusting. Thanks for all the help

never have a stranger over w/o someone there! I would find out what all is missing.I would test the machine making sure it works.I would call to see how much out of the pocket expenses are going to be.I would check w/local tv trouble shooters &/or proscutors office. Then I'd send her a registered letter to either refund &take back what she sold OR give you the difference to make it right.

Try Lowes, Home Depot....Take a picture of what the tracks look like. I heard someone bought something there because there tracks were ruined.

I'm so soory this has happened. Is there a male figure in your vacinity that could help you put it together?

Mary....I am so sorry to hear about your terrible experience. Shame on that woman! I hope you are able to solve the problem..:) Just be safe and careful...you might not want her to come to your house. Many good ideas from other members about contacting Grace, etc. Good Luck!...Stupid, you say??? Not at alllll!...just trusting!

I agree. She is a bluffer and a bully, she knows you can't/won't fight back and she is using it to her advantage.
I would go with the upgrade and just hope she will one day be in your shoes. Paybacks are a son-of-a-gun. What goes around comes around. I'm sorry you had to meet someone like that.

sweetie if you go to gracies site they have conplete instructions on how toput your frame to gether it is quite a prossess so take it a littlt at a tine alo there is a parts list if there is a better bussness in your city or her city you could call and tell them about her actions hope you get it all straiten out yake care

I am really mad this morning. The 1st two articles I read this morning are about the rudness and support of a FEW people who are involved with the quilting world. I feel so sorry for people who were treated badly. 1st by older, or "Bertha better than thou's" and second by tthis sweet lady who bought something to make her quilting life better. And to find out that it was just a game to get her to buy something.

I will now make sure that I am very careful in my actions and remember to give a hand to all quilters and when they are hurt by comments or by someone using us...we must stick together and make sure we don't lose another quilter to bad people. I appreciate the love and the hand out to grab me as I fall. Remember no matter how long you have been a quilter...lose the attitude and have fun

So sorry for your experience! The lady that caused all this grief isn't worth your time! I've been known to send a letter or two marked with a cc to my attorney - never had to contact the attorney because it usually gets results. Of course, things like this really, really upset you anytime, but especially when going through cancer treatments! One thing that helped me was reading a book titled "The Cancer Conquerer" by Greg Andersen. Very thin, small book that makes you think. My very best wishes to you as you go through your treatments! Hang in there, girl friend, you CAN do it! You're not alone.
