    I wonder what will happen to the building. Craft Town has been an icon there ever since I can remember!! Hate to see another building sit empty.

    Three LQS have closed in the past few years where I live & now another one is closing also. I still see a lot of the people but it's just not the same as going into the store.

    I'm afraid our LQS is not long for this world either. The fabric has just gotten too expensive for the local people and she was one of the cheaper ones in the area. Sad!!!!

    Quilting is meant to be a group project. Touching the fabric is part of the whole experience. Sorry to hear that your local gathering place is closing.

    My LQS is closing in November too and I will be travelling to another one about 40 mins away. There is a closer one but I find service is sometimes lacking there.

    I like to be able to see what I am buying.
