    I use hairspray I can't afford 505 and hairspray works pretty well.

    but don't you have to worry it will gum up your machine or needles to use hairspray?

    I hand sew/quilt everything so there is no problem with a machine. I actually started using hairspray after reading it on the board someplace. maybe someone who uses hairspray and a machine could answer your question because I would like to know the answer too.

    I suppose it would depend on the brand of hairspray as well and how sticky it is.
