Lets be nice to each other. This was/is a tragedy. Quilt request has been filled.

I don't understand what you all see as the problem.

Other than the above quoted admonishment to 'shut your mouth', all of the comments on this thread have been polite, calmly stated viewpoints from people with vastly different life experiences. No one has raised their voice, flown off the handle, tried to force their opinion on others, or been "un-nice" to anyone in any way.

Why should people here be discouraged from offering their opinion or asking a question about the rationale behind, and appropriateness of, anything related to quilts and quilting...donations included. We are here exactly for such discussions, are we not?

Ghostrider you are so right! I love coming here and it's the only place I feel I can "belong". I have very few friends but do have a large family, so I come here to be like a part of something good, kind, refreshing and a place full of smiles. Lets keep it that way! Now, on to the next subject....How 'bout them Bears!!

I have to agree Ghostrider!! It is very annoying when people make snide and mean comments just because someone has a different opinion.
Yay for the Bears, I am a Steelers fan myself, sad thing this year. lol

Quilt for Kids is in need of quilts also. They take them to hospitals all over the country. They recently was sending them to victims of Sandy on the east coast.
