    Default Santa Came Early

I'm pretty excited. It hasn't arrived yet, but I just purchased a Janome Horizon MC 15000!! It is supposed to do everything you want--embroidery, quilting machine, wireless with an iPad, etc. Does anyone have one? How steep is the learning curve? If anybody has tips, techniques, or suggestions I would love to hear them.

Lucky you! Do you know if there is an auto-pivot function? i.e. - the presser foot can be set to raise automatically when you stop sewing in the needle-down position without the use of a knee lift.

I emailed Janome (UK) last year and they said they had no plans to introduce this feature - I'm hoping they've changed their mind!

I believe there is this feature. At least I think I remember seeing it during the demonstration I had on the machine.

I hope your machine does all you want it to do. I don't know anything about that machine.
