    I agree with these ladies. Quilts are so much fun to look at and seeing all the patterns a D9P makes when put together would be fun. I also think a young girl would like it that way, not so standard a quilty look. Let us see it when it is all done - maybe with your daughter holding it. :)

    Sashing corrals the blocks. The lack of sashing allows the D9P pattern to flow across the quilt. Totally different looks, and both are attractive.

    I like it better with the sashing. The design of the individual blocks can be seen better & I like that look.

    With and without sashing gives the quilt two very different looks, as would a sashing with a color. Which one do you think you or your daughter would prefer?
