    I think you should skip the sashing.. those blocks are great next to each other..

    I like it with dashing but maybe a medium blue would be less contrast if you want that. I think the separation draws more attention to the blocks..very nice by the way:)

    Definetely no sashing, but with a narrow, then a wide border.....would love to see some different choices of border color though....maybe something to enchance the brightness...

    FYI: This is a Disappearing Nine Patch pattern. It will be 3 x 4 blocks. Each "patch" in the block of nine is 9 inches which makes a finished block that's about 25 inches! I'm having it quilted with edge to edge, fist-sized peace signs and swirly "stuff" all over! (I got the idea from someone on this board!!!)

    I hope she likes it!!! Shhh . . . it's a surprise!!! :o)
    The white sashing gives it a more feminine look. IMHO
