    The color play of the blocks without the sashing make it look like a much more difficult-to-piece quilt. I'd leave the sashing for another project.

    I like it both ways but I think in this case the sashing would be the way I would go.

    One vote for the sashing. I think that it sets off the blocks. My eye then concentrates on the actual design in the block.
