    I like the sashing, gives it a more modern crisp look. Also breaks up any chance of it being to "busy". I bet she loves it. It is really pretty. Great Job Mom.

    Some times sashing makes the quilt bigger, I use sashing to enlarge the quilt, If you are satisfied with the size without sashing that is one thing but if you need it to be a little larger I find sashing makes a big difference, guess it all depend son teh size, :thumbup: :? :roll:

    If you "flip" all of the blocks the same way, I think the secondary design follows through better without sashing. If each block is flipped differently then, I would use the sashing. It's really a matter of personal taste. Please== let s know what you choose.

    I would use the sashing for sure! I don't think it takes away from the colors at all!
    Good luck I hope she really wil love it either way!

    I vote for the sashing. The white strips make it stand out more in my opinion.
