WITHOUT! The sashing on this particular quilt just cuts into the wonderful pattern and stops the eye from wondering around all the wonderful color in the quilt. IMHO

I like it with the sashing. IMHO a D9P is way too busy without sashing.

I am not a fan of sashing. I prefer the overall pattern look. But I also agree that you should ask your daughter which she likes since it is her quilt.

I like them both but for a young girl I would say without the sashing!

To me, the sashing breaks up the continuity of the design as a whole. I say no sashing.

Another without. The white sashing breaks up the continuity of pattern that the D9P gives you. It is like remembering snatches of a dream, rather than the whole dream.

It's a beautiful quilt. I like it without the dashing. Have you asked your daughter which way she likes it?
