I love it. The more important question is will you love it in whatever setting you put it?

try the navy and see. I think either will work fine. your orange isn't nearly as bright as what I used on my four patch quilt, so no worries at all. It looks great so far!!!

Good combination -- your eye will be drawn to the blocks, where it should be. The sashing has just enough contrast to be interesting. Don't change the cornerstones -- just different enough from the sashing to be effective. The attention should only be drawn to your blocks, which are beautiful! Can't wait to see the finished quilt!

Your quilt is lovely. :-) I like the orange very much, but think the cornerstones should have more contrast to tie in with the blocks. I would try the navy blue or a purple. Is this Bonnie Hunter's Hopscotch Butterscotch pattern?

Ms Grace, your quilt is beautiful with the soft orange sashings. The light brown or beige cornerstones do look kinda lost, though. Your idea of using navy blue squares will add a really neat sparkle to the quilt! Have you tried auditioning with different colors and seeing which ones catch your eye?

I think the orange is a good choice. Also I would use the navy as cornerstones. That would give it a good contrast and pull out the dark fabrics in the quilt.

Yes, it is Bonnie Hunter's pattern.
The blocks were really quick to put together.
They were much easier to make than deciding on colors.
