I agree--more narrow sashing and the light greenn for an innter border with the peach for the wider outside border. froggyintexas

Thanks so much, and yes the sashing would be a bit more narrow - I didn't lay it out very well ... trying to hurry as usual.

But I truly think the one with no sashing between the blocks and 3 border strips is what I have chosen to use. I will use a small green row, then the pink border and then the light cream border a bit larger than the pink.

I had my daughter log in to take a look at the pictures, and she likes the no sashing the
best. So I am off to sew blocks together! I knew I would get great advice here. Thanks again.

    Definitely narrow peach sashing, IMHO.

Oh good. I just don't understand the need to use sashing on every single quilt these days. Personal opinion here, I think wide sashing is boring and borders on ugly and can really ruin a quilt. If you're going to use sashing make it interesting and make it add to the overall design of the quilt.

I like it with a narrow sashing.

I think a narrow green sashing around blocks also as the first inner border then the peach and then the light print. Cute quilt!!!!!

I always seem to agree with Duncan. Yes, a narrow sashing would look better than what you have in the photo. It will break up the background. Really CUTE pattern and your fabric selection is so darling. LOVE IT !!

I love the sashing. If it were me I would use the peach for the border also. Beautiful fabric.

I think it's needs sashing but the ones you show are too wide. IMHO they need to be narrower so that they don't overwhelm the roses BUT enhance them. As for the border, if you are going to go with sashing I would choose the green for the 1st border & then maybe 1 of the peach borders. Great looking quilt.
