    I will go with the sashing camp. To me it seems to highlight each block.

    The secondary pattern in the background is so pretty and the sashing stops the flow of the whole quilt and interrupts the unity. It really depends on the look you want. With the sashing each block is highlighted individually like a picture show. No sashing on this one if it were my project.

    If you can't decide go with sashing. You won't have to match all those points that way.

    I like it without the sashing. I see the colors of the piecing better. The black sashing competes. LIke others, I'd consider white if I used sashing.

    How big do you want your finished product to be--if that's a consideration? And then how accurate are your blocks so that the points on the design will meet? These are factors that would influence my decision if it were mine.

    Well you have a lot of opinions here and I agree with all of them. Myself, I would use the black, I like the block look!

    This was exactly what I thought. If you want to show off some quilting in those white spaces, go without sashings. If not, then the sashing gets my vote.
