Raedar, Maybe you can use fabric from bear fabric panels for it's fur. Have seen several realistic looking ones. I also like realistic nature scenes with wildlife. Finding fabrics that aren't cartoon-ish is a challenge but can be found. Recently cut a snow tiger panel to make realistic feathers on a snow owl

I am so excited to see how your wallhanging or whatever size you decide to do. My son who is 5 is a big fan of the finding big foot series and I know he will be excited to see what you do. Way to go for stepping outside the box and making something that is interesting to you and a lot of us.

This is exactly the look I am dreaming of. I didn't know what couched yarn was so I looked it up , Perfect! I have never worked in mixed media as I do not know if it is with in my abilities but the yarn I do beleive now is a must! My brother lives right on a bayou and has mos in the trees the yarn on the squacth and the moss will be perfect!
