I have a heat press that I bought from my lqs. I love it!! It is great for pressing blocks and also for pressing rows of seams. The weight of the press makes very flat seams and no tucks or pleats. No stretching with the iron since the press is straight down. Also I can set it for a high heat, it beeps every 7 seconds when the top is down, so I know how long to press without scorching my fabric. Just another tool to help me with the tricky 1/4" seam.
