I hope I put this in the right section.
I'm a teacher and one of the ladies that works at school is having a baby.
I want to teach the special education students how to sew and make her a quilt for the new baby. I've chosen a fat quarter friendly turning twenty quilt pattern.
Went and bought some fat quarters (6) of them - as this is out of my own pocket expense. Hoping some of the students will bring in fat quarters. Thinking about the 12 fat quarter size so it's bigger than a baby blanket.
I'm excited about teaching them quilting and they are excited about making something for her.
This project falls under MATH - measurments /squares/rectangles. and Following Multi-step directions.
Please pray all goes well.

What a wonderful idea. I would be happy to donate some fat quarters if you need some. Just send me a PM.
