    NEVER cut paper with you fabric cutting scissors. Fiskers are good scissors. Gray or black handle ones is what I have.

    Fiskars and Mundail are the best mid-range scissors but I LOVE my Ginghers. Also, you can buy a hand-held sharpener for Fiskars that will keep them nice but don't put your Ginghers through it.

    I never cut paper with my good scissors. I have quite a collection of Ginghers, all made in Germany which they seldom are now. Have never had to have then sharpened. Of course, have every size and am careful with them.

    Are the Ginghers something that JoAnn's carries or just a specialty shop?
