I would be interested in your scraps if they are still available! I enjoy making crumb quits.

Scraps -I love them
I've posted pictures before of scrappy qults I've made. I love making something out of an odd assortment of bits that many folk throwaway. Here's a picture of one I've just finished using 2 inch squares.

I have to confess I didn't use to save "scraps" from quilts I made. But now if it's a few inches and worth saving I do keep them in a drawer. Right now I am making this quilt. I am using scraps but they were still big pieces of fabric before I began. They were mostly left over from a civil war quilt and I threw in other fabrics as well.

I cut my scraps when the pile on my cutting table falls over because it is so high. I do not let them pile up any more than that; just too much work to cut them all up. I cut them into 5" squares or 2 1/2 " strips and keep them in labeled clear plastic shoe boxes. Works for me!

I like the scrappy hearts idea. I am working on scrappy tulips using "crumbs". I am also making a crumb basket quilt for my sister in reds and greens ( her favorite colors) per request. I save anything at least 3/4" anything else goes for nests for the birds. What they don't use gets tilled into the garden.
