SCRAPPY QUESTION
#11
Here's another "Scrappy Question":
Has anyone gotten involved in "Scrap Therapy"? What I know of it is that you pay $15 to $20 to go and have them tell you to trim your scraps to 3 sizes, and they give you a see-thru bin to store your cut scraps and then you spend the rest of the time (usually a 2-hour session) trimming your scraps.
Then, after you have taken the Cutting Scrap Therapy class, you are eligible to take other classes for about $20 each where they give you 2 patterns you can make with your cut scraps.
Is that about the gist of it? Have I missed anything or left anything out? I'd like to hear from anyone that has taken "Scrap Therapy." Thanks!

Marshame, Bonnie at has a system for cutting and using scraps. http://quiltville.com/scrapusersystem.shtml I wonder if it's similar to Scrap Therapy?

Wow! That Bonnie has some kind of system! And I do believe she has more scraps than me, which is saying a lot! And she has done some fabulous quilts with them! Thanks for the link, Chele.
In Scrap Therapy, the scraps are trimmed to only 3 sizes. That is what I am trying to find out. I saw them posted some where, and believe, from memory, the sizes are 6.5" square, 3.5" square and 2.5" strip, but I'm not sure this is correct, and I can't find where I read the sizes.
