    Love it! I can see what you mean about the lighter colors, but I really like that effect. Love your color scheme.

    My opinion is that it looks fantastic! The darker patches help move the eye around the quilt.

    I really love the colours and the pattern. I think it looks great as it is, and don't see any problems with the darker pieces, or the background. Lovely quilt all around!

    I like that your lights are just white on white or cream colored. That is the biggest problem I have -- I always think light means white.

    Actually, I understand totally where you are coming from as I am one of the ones who doesn't like to search hard for the pattern...

    BUT, you have a done a great job here. It is subtle, but extremely well done. It's beautiful. I don't think that the background is too colored! Up close, it may look that way to you, but once it is laid out, and here with this pictures, it is really "perfect". Really, really pretty!
