    I washed mine at home and didn't have any trouble. When I put it in the dryer, I stopped it every ten minutes and cleaned out the lint trap..and it was full each time!

    you can always do two lines of stitching to feel more secure. i did some rag quilts with wide strips across, rather than squares, so i did two seam lines.
