    I love TAW quilts and I have so many scraps. Thanks Joan for asking the question and everyone for the replies - now I have the info too. I love this board. It make quilting and my retirement the best part of my retirement so far!

    Maureen and Dunster's block is the way to go. So much easier to do blocks rather than rows. The lady said she used (81) 12 inch blocks and her quilt is 108 inches which means she used a 9 X 9 block setting. She set 8 blocks with a half block on the end of each row. Happy stitching!!!
