I had recently used up all my christmas scraps. I made table toppers, table runners, pot holders...ect, just to use up all my christmas scraps. I was going through bins and found more!!! I thought I was done with them.
Not only did I find more christmas scraps, but I started putting all my scraps in a bin. I filled 2 bins of scraps...and I'm not even finished going through the rest of the bins. So my daughter put all my scraps in plastic drawers for me(she will organize them all for me after I find the rest of them...she's great at organizing). I just can't believe how much I accumulated in the last couple years. I wonder how many quilts I could make with all the scraps I've saved!!!

It seems that no matter how many of the scraps you use the amount never gets less. So much fun to use though.

    Good for you!!!
I put all my corduroy scraps from Jenny's quilt in a ziplock bag and couldn't close it, so I made 4 big pillows out of the smaller pieces, pieced front and back. The smallest is 14" square and the others are 16"-18" square. And there's still some in the bag! And that's not counting the big pieces that are folded up and back in the stash...about 2 crates full...she gave me lots of corduroy to work with.

Oh, she is such a wonderful organizer too!!! She loves it. She helps my mom too. She will take all of her fabric out of her shelves and organize them all by color(and let me tell you....that is a chore, my mom has WAY more fabric than I do lol).

That is great. I don't even want to think about how many pillows I could make. Are you going to be making another quilt with the leftovers? I think it's no neat with it mixed in on quilts. I love the different textures.
