Sweet Caroline: Here is my method of dealing with scraps: I tend to take each piece and see what can be made from it, like can I cut it in squares(3",4",5") or to cut strips. Next I group all of those like pieces in ziploc bags and keep them for when I need them. When I am work on something that has leftovers, I do this right away, then you don't get overwhelmed. If you find fabrics you no longer like share them with someone who does. These scraps are a great resource for charity quilts.
