    It's beautiful! Don't discount it just because you don't like it right now. It may grow on you. I, personally, think it's great! :thumbup:

    I think you just about have it nailed. Trust your intuition. Looks very pretty. The white breaks the color up nicely.

    I think it looks great. As long as your friend loves it, that is what counts. I have made a few that I didn't like but they owners have loved them for years. As long as they are loved........

    I have a friend who just finished a similar scrappy but she put a small black square at each corner where the blocks meet to break up the white. If you don't like the way it looks right now maybe you could try that in addition to the borders you were talking about.

    i think it is Scrappy--and i like scrappy quilts--and am working on one now.I would probably add another border to it--maybe in one of the darker coors that was in it--i cant tell if it is brown or purple.Or a dark floral print.Just some suggestions.Good Luck--it will be nice after its quilted.Then you might be hooked on scrappy quilts!!!

    if it was for me i would use the black as sashes with the orange as a larger boarder then the black again small boarder. i love scrappy's and imho i think black make's it all stand out.
