These are cool. There is another type of seam ripper too that I love to use and I don't do any of the work. It is the gillette electric (actually battery operated) eyebrow epilator I think it's what it is called. I have had it for so long I don't even have the packing. I bought it at Walgreens when my friend showed us how they work. It is a thin silver colored item that cost approximately $10.00. I wish I knew how to send pics and I would send everyone one. It is great for those of us who have problems with our fingers or hands.

X-ACTO knife for me. I learned using razor blades too. The kind without the 'safe' edge. Then went to the 'safe' edged ones. I have a small black plastic ribbed cover that fits over the 'safe' edge for easy gripping. No idea where I got that from. But my favorite is the X-ACTO knife. It is comfortable to hold onto and my fingers or hand never cramp no matter how much ripping I am doing.
