I agree. I sent for one and when I got it I thought I could have meade one myself. I do use it but found it a little pricy.

A friend made me one for Christmas one year. Works great. Like others, it's simply a half dowel covered in cotton batting with a muslin sleeve slip stitched to the back and closed. Mine is about 18 inches long and fits beside my ironing pad.

My husband made mine. He took a large dowel and cut it in half, I then made a flannel sleeve and covered it. Use it when pressing seams open. Works great.

I use a snap clothes pin, taken apart, and then you have 2 to use.

I've had that happen too, and found that if I just refresh the page the text in the responses shows up. This is on my new iPad Pro that it’s happening on.

    Re: blank responses.

I've had that, too, but when I try again the images finally load. I thought it was just my browser speed, but maybe it's the loading speed of the website.
