Many, many years ago, I had a quilt pattern with Bear Claws. The blocks for 12" blocks and one block was a large bear claw and the next was a small bear claw, with sashes to make it a 12" block.
I believe it was in McCalls Quilting mag. but I can't be certain.
If anyone out there can help, it sure would make me happy.
    Thanks,

Is this the pattern? You could reduce the size for the small block and add your sashing to make it the same size.

    Peni
I can't thank you enough. This is the one I was looking for.
I made this quilt when the pattern came out, now it's hanging in an office in the small town we live near and a customer there wants to buy it or have me make one for them.
If I can ever return the favor, please let me know.
    Thank you again. Pam

It would be far better for you to contact McCalls about purchasing the back issue and make the quilt from that.

There has been quite enough discussion on this board for all to know that downloading pages of a quilt pattern from a magazine or book onto a public forum is a violation of the law. To print the pages or download them to your computer and print them, is also a violation of copyright law.

Yes, it is far better to order the back issue and once I found out the date of the publication and the name, I went to McCalls and ordered it.
