second Steamfast travel iron recall
there was one this spring, this new one included mine. It is pretty simple to do, from the link here
https://www.steamfast.com/recalls/travelirons
you fill in your info and include a pboto of the iron with cut cord and include a paper in the photo with your name, the return item number included in the return page and the date applied for.
I've replaced it with a black & decker vintage Stowaway off ebay, recommended on a blog I follow.

I have a Clover Wedge iron. I love this little iron, no auto shut off The end of the iron is a sharp point. It has been discontinued because what I can find out the rubberized style of the handle was flaking off. I wrapped Arnold's Amazing tape around the handle and no more flaking. I got the rebate from the first recall of the Steamfast. It was a nice little iron but the Wedge is easier to hold with the raised handle.

I also have the little Clover iron and love the point on it. Is small enough that I can sit up a wooden TV tray with a small wool mat and have it right next to my sewing machine. Love it for pressing my seams.

humm, I haven't heard back yet, glad you did. Makes me sad to see the little thing sitting here on my desk with it's cord cut. I bought it in a quilt shop in Thermopolis WY after a day on a dinosaur dig, so it's special.
