    IMHO I think a quilt made from the plaids and a few coordinating solids would be pretty. Somehow I just cannot wrap my head around the floral flannels in the pattern you have chosen. Perhaps that is just me. I admit I am not a scrappy person.

    bkay, I wouldn't include the felted wool.

    How about using the wool for a couple throw pillows to go with the quilt? You could add some of your extra pieces of the other fabrics for a background and perhaps cut out a shape from the wool to applique on? Or just use the wool for the pillows if there is enough. Perhaps a plaid backing for the pillow?
