Default seek for good journal: quilt/textile art/crazy quilt/application

I refer to my posting regarding a qulit-shop-trip as birthday present for my wife (and probably her friends) from Austria/Europe. But I need further help - I have requests from her friends (also invited for the celebration) for presents and I thought that a "textile"-topic journal would be the best idea. Can you pleas help me for one or two journals for my wife? She makes (as I understand) quilt/textile art/crazy quilt / application ... in other words she is interested in tradition but use the tradition in a independent manner, new mix of themes, techniques, patterns. Only short (if any) instructions are needed. Any hints and internet addresses would be helpful.

    Thank you for all hints

    Gottfried

PS.: I simply post 4 pictures, so you have a imagination what she is interested in

Gottfried, what do you mean by journal? To me a journal is a notebook to write down ideas or daily entries concerning life, projects, scriptures, etc. You get the idea? If you could explain a bit further about what you need ideas on maybe we can help. If you do a google or Amazon search it will give many hundreds of quilt journals that can be bought.

I am wondering if you are using the word journal as we would use the word reference book.

    Will these help?
