"I'll Fly Away" might be a good one. It depends on the quilt. I mostly like church songs and what they mean to me, but there are also songs like "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon and Garfunkel that come to mind. You might check some old hymnals and try to remember some of the favorites of the person the quilt is going to.

    Hope this helps.

    "Music" by Madonna

Music makes the people come together
Music mix the bourgeoisie and the rebel

Don't think of yesterday and I don't look at the clock
    I like to boogie woogie
It's like ridin' on the wind and it never goes away
But she's everything I'm in got to have it everyday

This is my motto---- MY WAY ---by Elvis. Any time I quilt I do it MY WAY. Regrets I've had a few--too few to mention.

    Perry Como:

Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket, never let it fade away.
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket, save it for a rainy day.

    You Raise Me Up

When I am down and oh my soul so weary,
When trouble comes and my heart burdened be,
Then I will sit and listen in the silence
Until you come and stay a while with me.
    You raise me up
So I can stand on mountains.
    You raise me up
    to walk on stormy seas.
I am tall when I am on your shoulders,
You raise me up to all that I can be.

    American Soldier- Toby Keith

And I can't call in sick on Mondays when the weekend's been too strong,
I just work straight through the holidays,
    And sometimes all night long.
You can bet that I stand ready when the wolf growls at the door,
Hey, I'm solid, hey I'm steady, hey I'm true down to the core,
And I will always do my duty, no matter what the price,
I've counted up the cost, I know the sacrifice,
Oh, and I don't want to die for you,
But if dying's asked of me,
I'll bear that cross with an honor,
    'Cause freedom don't come free.
