Close the rotary cutter as soon as I pick it up from a cut.
Unplug the iron when I'm done for the day. It has auto cut-off but I don't trust it.
Unplug the sewing machine, even if it's plugged into a power strip.

The only rule I follow is "do what feels right to me."

When I am putting squares together, I always back stitch on the ends so that those seams don't unravel.

I zig zag the edges of a quilt sandwich before adding the binding.

I also won't start a new quilt until I'm finished with the current one.

NO ONE can touch my sewing scissors but me!!
