we do not want the QB to be mistaken for a marketplace site.

There are other options for the OP. She can try some of the FB sites. There is one called Quilting Classified. I'm sure there must be other ones as well.

I sold fabrics on eBay for over a year. The best shipping is sending 1st class package mail but the limit is 13oz. I usually could only ship 2.25 yards using 1st class package shipping. Fabric weight per yard varies from 4.5oz to over 6oz per yard.
