What electric sewing machine was this made on? What kind of treadle machines do you use most of the time.
A long time ago.... while I was in college and working at a resort area during the summer as a waitress and staying in a woman's home, I used her treadle machine!!! I loved it. First time, and only time I've used one. Don't know what kind it was, but it did have a shuttle rather than a bobbin. I often wonder what happened to that machine.....

It was a 1963 Kenmore model 43 in the rare pearl Purple color. As for the treadle machines I have 19 in my studio that I just pick one out and toss it into the central treadle and go for it. But my favorite machine to quilt with is my Japanese 15, as for piecing I really like my model Singer 66's.

I just saw this, and I can understand why your wife is so anxious to get it done!

Your quilt is beautiful and you will be very satisfied with Charismah's LAQ. She has an eye for beauty and knows how to transfer it to her quilting!

When you have something this beautiful to start with and add Charisma to it - Stand by. This is the most beautiful work I have ever seen. Please post it when she returns it!!
